COVID-19 Response: Keeping Our Patients Safe During The Pandemic

Our COVID Response−SpineCare of NY and HSS are closely monitoring the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and our teams are constantly evaluating its impact on the care of our patients. The health of everyone in the SpineCare of NY community, and our wider community, is our biggest priority. We are taking proactive steps to keep our patients, visitors and staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic by following new guidelines, including:

  • Screening of all patients, visitors and staff upon arrival at all locations
  • COVID-19 testing for all patients prior to surgery
  • Enhanced disinfecting protocols
  • Social distancing
  • Restrictions on visitors and vendors
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) for all staff

At this time, patients are unable to have a visitor accompany them to their appointments unless previously approved by the SpineCare of NY office and HSS. Please call our offices at 212-606-1946 for more information regarding visitor restrictions and exceptions.

Additionally, we’ve added the Synexis Microbial Reduction System to our office space. Synexis is proven to be effective against both surface and airborne contaminants, including viruses, bacteria and mold.
